Many machines nowadays rely heavily on printed circuit boards full of small electronic components, and program logic controllers known a PLC’s . Our skilled engineers can fault find down to component level which could mean changing a component rather than replacing a whole board or unit which could be very expensive.
In most cases this can be done on site, but on occasions this may involve bringing printed circuit boards or units back to the workshops to protect the board from the factory environment.
Where possible we can often access PLC programs to try and identify issues with machine that relate to software .
Repairs can involve issues with sensors , encoders , inverters , DC drives , servo drives
Our design department are able to re-engineer old style unreliable analogue systems and build digital electronic control systems which will be more reliable, using readily available components and give more flexibility for now and the future.
